In Hudson Valley local coffee shops, weekend getaway motels, restaurants, clothing shops, you name it, Studio MM will be there. With strong connections to small businesses in the area, I was tasked with creating a small takeaway for community members to give out. While it folds like one, the brochure is not a typical trifold.

The Studio Brochure

Every idea starts with a draft.

With a closed square shape, the design emulates the polished look of the Studio’s homes. Standing out from business cards and postcards, this brochure involves direct interaction in discovering what is folded beneath.

Working text with image, a couple of sentences of the Studio’s design principles are followed by an image that spreads across two pages. On the left page is the exterior of the home and the right is the interior. Once opened, a spread of another home’s grand living area is unveiled. Accompanying the large image are quotes from clients. Upon closing the brochure, contact information and a QR code leading to FAQs and informative blog posts continue the conversation beyond.
